Abstract

Banjar society consisted of the mixture of some tribe (Dayak, Java, maly, and Bugis) inhabiting region of South Kalimantan. Majority of Banjar society are Moslem. Result of culture from those Moslem religion system influence to some cultural aspect in physical. One of them is implement at some interior element of Bubungan Tinggi house (one of the eleven type of Banjar's house). Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Masyarakat Banjar terdiri dari campuran beberapa suku (Dayak, Jawa, Melayu, dan Bugis) yang mendiamai wilayah Kalimantan Selatan. Mayoritas masyarakat Banjar memeluk agama Islam. Hasil budaya dari sistem religi Islam tersebut mempengaruhi beberapa aspek budaya secara fisik. Salah satunya tercermin pada beberapa eleman interior rumah Bubungan Tinggi (salah satu dari sebelas jenis rumah adat Banjar). Kata kunci: pengaruh islam, interior, rumah bubungan tinggi.
